英文說明:Bed curtains were embroidered works hung in front of the bed often combined with mosquito nets. These curtains were rectangular pieces cut to the length of the bed. They were used as a decoration. This example of bed curtains features a light red silk with embroidered lucky flowers. The flower vines creep out from the center toward both sides, and there are auspicious birds perched on the tendrils giving a dynamic feel to the work. The piece dates from the 1910s.
