- 石渠寶笈續編（重華宮），第四冊，頁1857&*故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁125&*故宮書畫圖錄，第十三冊，頁351-352&* 徐揚，江蘇吳縣人，號雲亭。山水用筆挺秀，畫梅亦蒼雅。乾隆十六年（西元一七五一年）以獻畫稱旨，入畫院，供奉內廷，欽賜舉人。 江干院落，主人夜遊，棹舟載梅而歸。筆意工整，設色雅淡。惟著意過甚，故滯刻中微覺力弱。 &*Carrying Plum Blossoms Hsü Yang (fl.18th century) Ch’ing dynasty Hsü Yang, a native of Wu-hsien, Kiangsu, was also known as Yün-t’ing. In painting landscapes, Hsü Yang’s use of the brush was excellent; in painting plum blossoms, his brush was elegant. Hsü Yang was summoned to the Palace as a court painter in 1751. This scroll depicts a master returning to his riverside home at night carrying plum blossoms in his boat. The brush concept is fine and precise; the application of color elegant and pole. Hsü Yang was extremely careful in his execution of this work, however, a few passages show slightly weak brushwork.
