石渠寶笈三編(延春閣),第六冊,頁2737&*故宮書畫錄(卷八),第四冊,頁135&*故宮書畫圖錄,第十四冊,頁373-374&* 陳士俊,生卒年和里籍均不詳,但這一套畫屏,本是同一時的作品,大都出於內廷供奉之手,因此陳士俊也很可能在乾隆時以畫供奉於內廷。 本幅畫宋范成大臘月村田樂府詩中的照田蠶行。江南風俗,臘月二十五夜,農家都用長竿綑紮著草束,結成火把。成群結隊,遊行於田陌之間,來祈求來歲的田蠶豐獲。 &*Illustration of Fan Ch’eng-ta’s Poem “Caving for the Silkworms and Fields” in the Emperor’s Calligraphy Ch’en Shih-chün Ch’ing dynasty Ch’en Shih-chün’s dates are unrecorded and his place of origin unknown. It may, however, be deduced from his works that he was a court painter of the Ch’ien-lung period (1736-1795), The present work is an illustration of Fan Ch’eng-ta of the Sung dynasty’s poem “Yüeh-fu of the Twelfth Month in the Village: Caving for the Fields and Silkworms”. On the night of the twenty-fifth of the twelfth month it was the custom in Chiang-nan for the farming families to bind long bundles of grasses together. These brands were then lit, and people would carry them as they went in groups along the paths between the fields. Thus they prayed for good fortune in the coming year for their fields, ploughing, silkworms, and mulberry trees.
