石渠寶笈三編(乾清宮),第二冊,頁608&*故宮書畫錄(卷八),第四冊,頁164&* 此作為本院所藏文伯仁紀年畫作中最晚的一件,作於萬曆元年(1573)秋天,是他去世前兩年的作品。根據文伯仁的題識,此作應題為「盂城曉霽」,今名為「江郭晴帆」,則據清宮著錄而來。 高郵古稱「盂城」,因其地狀似覆盂而得名,地處接連南北的運河邊,自明代以來一直是重要的水陸驛站。畫中描繪的城樓,應即為當時的高郵驛。扇面上方的一道坡岸,界定出畫中描繪的不是如太湖般的廣闊湖區,而是運河河道。文伯仁此作以草草逸筆,傳達出高郵清早雨歇時,微帶迷濛濕潤的靜謐景象。(20100713)&* Done on an autumn day in 1573, two years before his death, this is the latest dated work by Wen Boren in the National Palace Museum collection. According to Wen’s inscription at the right, this work ought to be entitled “Dawn Clearing by Yucheng,” but the current title is given in the catalogue of the Qing dynasty court collection from which it comes. The ancient name of Gaoyou was Yucheng, the character “yu” meaning “wide-mouthed jar,” in reference to the geographic appearance of the area. This place connected the northern and southern extensions of the Grand Canal and had since the Ming dynasty been an important station along local water and land routes. The painting depicts the city walls and gate tower of what was probably Gaoyou Station at the time. The land at the top of the composition indicates not the expansive waters of Lake Tai, for example, but instead the other bank of the Grand Canal. Wen Boren did this work with free and cursive strokes, suggesting the appearance of Gaoyou early in the morning after a rain, the moisture creating a slight haze for a serene scene.(20100713)
