- 石渠寶笈初編（重華宮），下冊，頁726&*故宮書畫錄（卷六），第四冊，頁247&*曹妙清，女，生卒年不詳。字比玉，自號雪齋，錢塘（今杭州）人。善鼓琴。工詩、書、畫，行書點畫皆有尺度。 此畫完成於明太祖洪武十二年（西元一三七九年），款署「女史曹妙清寫」。折枝花卉採橫向的走勢，其花葉繁盛，具正、反、向、側各種型態，頗為婀娜多姿。全幅以雙鉤填彩法畫成，設色雅緻，有閨閣娟秀的韻味。 本幅選自「紈扇畫冊」。&*Ts'ao Miao-ch'ing, a native of Hangchow, excelled at music. She was also versatile at poetry, calligraphy, and painting. This painting was completed in 1379 and signed, "Rendered by the lady Ts'ao Miao-ch'ing." Depicted here is a branch of flowers extending into the composition from the right. Flowers and leaves are luxuriant and depicted in a variety of positions for an elegant scene. The forms were outlined first in ink and then filled with colors. The coloring is refined with an almost feminine quality.
