石渠寶笈續編(乾清宮),第一冊,頁504&*故宮書畫錄(卷六),第四冊,頁197&*陸治(西元一四九六至一五七六年)吳縣人。字叔平,號包山子。倜儻好義,以孝友稱。詩文書畫並工。嘗遊文衡山祝枝山之門,畫名幾與衡山相埒。 此畫全用澀筆,山嶺平疊,若毫不錯意者。而一種荒寒之氣,自然流露紙上。畫中惟人、舟、屋宇,微用青赭,山樹皆染,蓋畫雪耳。古人雪景,天與水必加漬染,此獨不然,亦創格也。本幅選自「名畫琳瑯」冊。&*Lu Chih was a native of Soochow. His style name was Shu-p'ing; his sobriquet was Pao-shan-tzu. Lu Cih excelled in poetry belles-lettres, calligraphy and painting. A friend of Wen Cheng-ming and Chu Yun-ming his paintings were almost as famous as those of Wen Cheng-ming. This painting was completely executed with a coarse brush. A cold vapor naturally pervades the paper. The artist used slight reddish-brown color on the figures, boat and houses. The old masters customarily used washes on the sky and water when painting snow scene.
