石渠寶笈三編(延春閣),第四冊,頁1882&*故宮書畫錄(卷五),第三冊,頁355&*故宮書畫圖錄,第七冊,頁259-260&*1.〈明仇英園林清課〉,收入國立故宮博物院編輯委員會編,《園林名畫特展圖錄》(臺北:國立故宮博物院,1987年十月初版),頁74-75。 &* 仇英(約一四九四-一五五二),字實父,江蘇太倉人。出身低微,年輕時曾為漆工。畫家周臣賞識其才華,加以指導,因此漸有名於畫壇,為明四大家之一。 林竹繁茂的鄉野,有一座院落人家,院中布置著廳堂、房舍、書齋、作坊;穿過花籬是為園池區,館舍、亭榭圍繞池畔而構築。有讀書、滌硯、紡紗、遊園等活動。使富有園林之勝的畫面,充滿雅逸的生活情趣。 &*Garden Entertainments Ch’iu Ying (1494-1552) Ming Dynasty One of the "Four Great Masters" of the Ming dynasty, Ch’iu Ying (style name; Shih-fu, sobriquet; Shih-chou) was a native of T’ai-ts’ang, Kiangsu. Some say he was a lacquer artist in his youth. He remained unknown until his talents came to the attention of the painter, Chou Ch’en (fl. 1500-35), under whose tutelage he flourished. Ch’iu Ying’s depiction of a forest-and bamboo-shaded country villa provides a glimpse of the elegant lifestyle of its occupants, who are shown spinning, reading, preparing their inkstones to begin writing, or merely strolling about the grounds. In the living quarters of the villa one finds parlors, rooms, studies, and workshops. Wandering along the flower-covered walkways toward the gardens, one comes across small buildings and a pavilion built at the edge of the pool.
