- 中文摘要:法鼓文化事業出版的「高僧小說系列」，係以歷代高僧一生行誼為取材，它是一套具有濃厚佛學色彩的傳記型小說。兒童文學創作者如何將高僧捨棄世間的七情六慾，進行刻苦耐勞的修行生活的出家因緣，斷除貪瞋癡慢疑等無明煩惱，顯現在個人修為上；如何追求世間解脫、獲得離苦得樂的圓滿究竟；如何將救度眾生的慈悲與智慧、肯定眾生自性的平等觀及利他度人的菩提願心等高深內涵的佛學思想，融於作品中，創作出一部兼具教育性及文學性的兒童文學創作。 「高僧小說系列」不僅具有傳記文學的特色，同時呈現小說文體的特色，並以青少年為主要對象，描寫高僧一生的行誼，可說是將少年小說、傳記、佛教哲理三者融為一體的文學作品。故本文旨在探討「高僧小說系列」在兒童文學作品中，是否具備「傳記型小說」的特色；並透過文本分析，就「高僧小說系列」高僧的身世背景、高僧的外在特質與高僧的內在修持，分析「高僧小說系列」的人物刻畫特色及在兒童文學創作的藝術貢獻。
- 英文摘要:Dharma Drum Publications has published Hierarch Serial Novel, which describes the historical conduct and life of hierarch and enriches Buddhism Biographical Novel. A children’s literary creator portrays a hierarch who how to give up emotion in the world, practice Buddhist life, and become a monk of the cause to cut off nil worries, such as greedy, angry, silly, and doubt, that express individual in the practice of Buddhist; how to pursue world’s Nirvana and get satisfactory of happiness after all instead of sufferings; and how to rescue all living creatures with mercy and wisdom, affirm the equality and altruistic of the creatures with bodhi vow of highly concept of Buddhism in the novel deeply that creates an education and children’s literature creation as well as literary productions. Hierarch Serial Novel not only has character of Biographical literature, but also has the expression of fiction. It also describes teenager as an objective and the conduct and life of hierarch to merge teenager novel, biography, and Buddhism philosophy into literature. Hence, the objective of the research is to discuss with Hierarch Serial Novel in the children’s literature whether it has character of biographical novel or not, to analyze the background, extrinsic character, and intrinsic moral practice of hierarch, to diagnose figure portrayal characters of hierarch serial novel and art contribution in children’s literature creation.
