- 石渠寶笈續編（乾清宮），第二冊，頁532-534&*故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁28&*沈周（西元一四二七－一五○九年）江蘇長洲人。字啟南，號石田，又稱白石翁。其畫造型雅拙，用筆鈍勁，用墨厚重，富質樸有力；古意盎然之趣，為明四大家之一。 本幅畫枯樹三株，在平坡之上，中有草亭。亭側垂柳一株，一老翁持笻過橋而至。畫上題畫詩云：「湖上清灣是子家，緣楊岸下水葒花；去年載酒曾相覓，一路尋詩覽物華。」據詩此畫當為其友君澤而作，未署年款，以畫風論，約成於沈周六十五歲。 本幅為「明人畫扇－元」冊第一開。&*上款署君澤。題畫詩云：「湖上清灣是子家，綠楊岸下水葒花；去年載酒曾相覓，一路尋詩覽物華」。詩中有事，當卽為君澤而作者。畫中枯樹三株，在平坡之上，中有亭子。亭之左，垂柳一株，一翁持笻度短橋而至。或卽去年沈周來時之境也。惜無年款，疑沈周六十五歲之作&*1491 Shen Chou Small Pavilion among Scattered Trees In the inscription on this fan painting Shen Chou mentions the name Chun Che. Shen inscribed the painting with a poem: “Your home is situated in a cove along the shore of a lake, among the green willows and flowers beneath the bank; last year we visited together over a cup of wine, and drifting in your boat wrote poems and enjoyed the flowers and animals.” The poem refers to a specific event, probably involving Chun Che and written for him. The painting represents three bare trees on a level bank; among them is a small pavilion. To the left of the pavilion are a weeping willow and an old man with a bamboo staff crossing a bridge. Perhaps this is a representation of the time the previous year when Shen Chou came to visit. The painting is not dated but was probably painted in 1491, when Shen Chou was 64 years old.
