He was a multifaceted artist, skilled in all genres of painting. Behing an unusual rock (symbolic of longevity) with immortal fungus grow narcissi. Branches with sparse red leaves emerge from the side; a starling perched atop dips his body as he sings. The brushwork is rich, and the ink was applied with marvelous freedom.
