- 簡介:"Taiwanocerus (Taiwanocerus) taipingshanus體色為乳棕色，複眼黑色，頭頂乳白色，在前端有一對棕色斑紋；頭楯和頰片具有黑色區域；前胸背板乳白色，前端在中線兩側各具一對暗棕色條紋；小楯板暗棕色，具黃棕色斑點如下所分布：在基部中線兩側各一個，中央兩側方各一個及端部一個黃棕色斑點。前翅在幾乎基部一半和端部區域色為棕色。T. taipingshanus 與T. tungpus不同處在於T. taipingshanus尾端節為L型，陰莖不具附屬物。本種至今僅發現於太平山，而寄主植物仍未知。本種敘述引用Huang and Maldonado (1992) 之文獻。General color of Taiwanocerus (Taiwanocerus) taipingshanus milky brown, eyes black, vertex milky, with a pair of brown marks anteriorly; clypeus and lora with blackish areas; pronotum milky, anteriorly with a pair of dark brown markings at each side of median line; scutellum dark brown, with yellowish brown spots as follows: two median at base, two lateral at midlength, one apical; tegmen brown at nearly basal half and narrowly at apex. T. taipingshanus differs from T. tungpus by the characters of pygofer L-shaped, aedeagus without appendages. So far, this species was only found in Taipingshan, and the host plant is still unknown. The description of this species based on the description of Huang and Maldonado (1992)."
