描述：: 中文說明:木質，用一塊木頭鏤空而成，木魚表面漆成紅色，在木魚的中間下凹一洞，上方雕以圖案，塗以金色，魚尾為手握持部份，與木魚頭本身分開，敲木魚時會有更好的效果。木魚為佛堂誦經時不可缺的工具，與罄同時使用。本件藏品，尚少使用，故能保存新的狀況。; 日文說明:木の塊の中を空洞にした木魚、表面は赤い漆塗り、木魚の中間に凹んだ洞があり、上方に図案を彫って金色に塗り、魚の尾は手で握る部分。木魚は頭と体に別れて、木魚を叩く効果をよくする。仏堂で経を読む時欠くべからざるもの、罄と同時に使用する。; 英文說明:Made by hollowing out a single piece of wood, the middle of this red lacquered wooden fish has a hole in it. The top is decorated with carved patterns and painted gold. The fish is held by its “tail” away from the head to get better resonance when striking it. Used with the ching bell, the wooden fish is indispensable in Buddhist Halls when reciting Buddhist scripture.
