- 中文說明:本件1雙約為清末民初時期，台灣閩籍富家女子纏足穿用的弓鞋，尖頭高跟高筒，鞋面用紅色布作成底，彩繡花卉圖案。宋朝以來中國男子穿方鞋、女子穿圓鞋，台灣粵籍婦女無纏足的習俗。
- 日文說明:清朝末期、台湾閩籍の富家婦女使用の弓靴。先が尖って踵も筒も高い。靴の表面は赤い色の布地を底にして、花卉図案を刺繍してある。宋朝以来、男性は方形の靴、女性は円形の靴を履くが、台湾粵籍の女性には纏足の習慣がない。
- 英文說明:This pair of bowed shoes with pointed toes, low heels, and high tops is from around the time of the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and was worn by a Taiwanese female from a wealthy family of Fujian descent. The red fabric is adorned with colorful flower embroidery. Since the time of the Song Dynasty, Chinese men have worn shoes with squared off tips, while those of women were rounded off. Taiwanese women of Guangdong descent did not practice foot binding.
