英文說明:This pair of bowed shoes with pointed toes, low heels, and high tops is from around the time of the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and was worn by a Taiwanese female from a wealthy family of Fujian descent. The red fabric is adorned with colorful flower embroidery. Since the time of the Song Dynasty, Chinese men have worn shoes with squared off tips, while those of women were rounded off. Taiwanese women of Guangdong descent did not practice foot binding.
