- 中文說明:造型像覆蓋的碗稱為碗帽，外型有點像瓜皮帽但不裁瓣，而且圈足的地方不襯硬紙，是幼兒四個月大時，外婆家送「頭尾」不能或缺的整套衣衫，本件以黑絨布色為底，只裝飾有粉紅色系作波浪狀織帶。
- 日文說明:碗を被した形の帽子、外形は瓜皮帽に似ているが裁瓣はなく、周りに硬い紙を入れていない。子供が四個月になった時母方の祖母が贈る物。この品は黒いビロード布地に淡い赤糸の波形紐で装飾してある。
- 英文說明:This hat, which resembles a covered bowl, is similar to a melon hat (a skullcap resembling the half rind of a watermelon), except it was not made by sewing together panels and the bottom brim is not lined with stiff paper. It was part of an outfit given to a child at four-months of age by its grandparents on the mother's side. This black flannelette example is adorned with only pink wavy ribbons.
