故宮書畫錄(卷四),第二冊,頁309-310&*故宮書畫圖錄,第二十一冊,頁445-458&*1.韓北新,〈郎世寧繪畫繫年(二)〉,《故宮文物月刊》,第68期(1988年11月),頁133-134。 &*先蠶壇位於北京西苑東北角,是清朝王室后妃拜祭蠶神(黃帝元妃嫘祖)、躬事桑蠶的場所。康熙年間曾在中南海豐澤園設蠶舍,雍正十三年(1735)建先蠶祠,因北郊無浴蠶所,後遷至西苑。乾隆七年(1742)始建先蠶壇,九年(1744)建成。此卷繪乾隆九年(1744)孝賢皇后親蠶儀式,後有御題詩跋云:「先蠶壇兆於西苑,乾隆九年(1744)孝賢皇后肇稱懿典,嗣此歲嘗舉行,鞠衣將事,鉤筐具儀,命圖以志之,藏於繭館。辛未(乾隆十六年,1751)長夏載一展閱。」感念孝賢皇后於乾隆十三年(1748)隨御駕南巡,返蹕山東德州途中崩逝。歷代王朝由於禮制的需要,都曾經在宮廷內容納眾多的畫家,以繪製記錄皇室生活及重要政治歷史事件。此圖為典型宮廷紀實繪畫,場面宏大,人物眾多,畫中主要人物皇帝、皇后肖像由郎世寧(1688-1766)主繪,其他部分則由畫院一等畫畫人金昆、二等畫畫人吳桂等人奉命合作而成。(林莉娜)&*古禮,季春之月,后妃躬親蠶桑之事,示為天下率也。此禮至清代尚行之。郎世寧、金昆、盧湛等十人合作親蠶圖,分四卷。(一)詣壇,皇后詣臨蠶壇,沿途儀杖鹵簿甚盛(二)祭壇,皇后蒞壇致祭。(三)採桑,皇后盛裝坐殿下,觀諸王命婦採桑之狀。(四)獻繭,皇后坐殿上,眾嬪妃跪進蠶繭。本次展出者,為第一、二、三卷。 &*In antiquity, the empress personally supervised the rites of sericulture which were performed during the third lunar month. This tradition was transmitted to the Ch’ing dynasty. Lang Shin-ning (Giuseppe Castiglione, 1688-1768), Chin K’un, Lu Chan and seven other members of the court of the Ch’ien-lung emperor (r.1736-95) painted these rites on four scrolls, which are: 1) The Procession: The empress approaches the altar of sericulture with insignias and banners lined up to celebrate this grand occasion. 2) The Sacrifice: At the altar, the empress is performing sacrificial offerings. 3) The picking of Mulberry leaves: Richly attired, the empress is seated on a dais watching as various wives of princely officials pick mulberry leaves. 4) The Presentation of Cocoons: The seated empress is approached by princesses carrying the cocoons of the silkworms. Three paintings, the Procession, the Sacrifice, and the Picking of Mulberry Leaves, are displayed in this exhibition. &*「親蠶」為古祭禮,指宮中后妃於季春之月,躬行蠶桑事,以為天下表率。此禮至清代猶奉行。清代自康熙朝始,即以繪畫記錄宮廷活動。院本親蠶圖由乾隆朝郎世寧、金昆、盧湛等十位供職畫家合作,共四卷。第一卷詣壇,畫皇后詣臨蠶壇,沿途儀杖甚盛。第二卷祭壇,畫皇后蒞壇致祭。第三卷採桑,畫皇后盛裝坐殿下,觀諸王命婦採桑情景。第四卷獻繭,畫皇后坐殿下,眾嬪妃跪進蠶繭。此卷為第一卷。 &*This was an ancient court ritual performed in spring by the empress for silk (including the mulberry bush) and to receive blessings. It continued into the Ch’ing dynasty, when, starting with the K’ang-hsi reign (1662-1722), it was customary to depict certain court activities. This set of 4 scrolls represents a collaboration by 10 artists, including Giuseppe Castiglione, Chin K’un, and Lu Chan. The first scroll (on display here) is “Visiting the Altar” and shows the empress approaching the sericulture altar for the ritual. In the next, “Sacrifices at the Altar,” she performs offerings at the hall. In the third, “Picking Mulberry,” she orders women to pick mulberry leaves. In the last, “Presenting Cocoons,” she sits by the hall as princesses bring silk cocoons.
