石渠寶笈三編(延春閣),第六冊,頁2742&*故宮書畫錄(卷八),第四冊,頁135 &*故宮書畫圖錄,第十四冊,頁367-368&* 唐岱與沈源,都是十八世紀左右,供奉於清宮內廷的畫家。 「豳」為古代國名。成王即位後,周公攝政,作豳風七月之詩一篇,述后稷公劉政教之始。述其政教之中,則為豳雅,述其政教之成,則為豳頌,以戒成王。畫面上方有張照所抄錄的全篇詩文,圖中情境全是依照詩文內容而加以表達,設色明麗豐富,用筆熟練,是幅詩畫合一的典型宮廷繪畫。 &* T’ang Tai and Shen Yüan served as court painters in the Ch’ing during the 18th century. Pin was the name of an ancient state in China. When Prince Ch’eng assumed leadership, the Duke of Chou acted as regent and composed the poem “ The Seventh Month”. Part of The Odes of Pin, it was a means of instruction for governing. The process of governing was known as the Ceremonies of Pin, and the achievements known as the Hymns of Pin. They were intended as advice for Prince Ch’eng. At the top of this work is Chang Chao’s transcription of the entire verse. The contents of the imagery are based on the verse. The coloring is opulent and the brushwork mature. This combination of poetry and imagery is a classic example of court painting.
