石渠寶笈三編(延春閣),第四冊,頁1572&*故宮書畫錄(卷一),第一冊,頁82&*趙孟頫(西元一二五四-一三二二年),湖州人。字子昂,號松雪道人。書法尊倡復古,為元代書壇領袖,影響後世甚鉅。此卷為趙氏應野翁之請,以小楷抄寫南宋姜夔〈蘭亭考〉並題識,約書於至元二十六年。二十年後(至大二年)此卷為張巨川所有,趙氏再為之題跋;卷末為與抄寫〈蘭亭考〉同時的〈與野翁信札〉並趙氏跋。此卷為其早年小楷重要作品,卷末信札與兩跋則提供行書風格差異之對比。(20110101)&* Zhao Mengfu was a native of Huzhou. In calligraphy he advocated revivalism, being a leader of Yuan calligraphy circles and having a major influence on later generations. This handscroll, done at the request of Cao Yeweng, transcribes in small regular script “Investigation of the Orchid Pavilion Preface” by Jiang Kui of the Southern Song with an inscription. Done around 1289, 20 years later it came into the hands of Zhang Juchuan, at which time Zhao wrote another inscription. At the end is Zhao’s Letter to Yeweng done at the same time as the transcription and a colophon by Zhao. This is an important early work by Zhao in small regular script.
