- 故宮書畫錄（卷一），第一冊，頁62-63 &*石渠寶笈初編（御書房），下冊，頁902-903 &*米芾（西元1051—1108年），四十一歲前名黻，字元章，號襄陽漫仕、海岳外史等。 襄陽（今湖北襄樊）人。二十一歲以恩蔭入京補為秘書省校書郎，年輕時宦游廣東、桂林、長沙、杭州、楊州、潤州等地，四十二歲任雍丘（河南）縣令，後歷官漣水軍（江蘇）使，知無為軍（安徽），徽宗朝官書畫學博士，禮部員外郎，出知淮陽軍（江蘇），五十八歲卒於任上。他兼善詩文、書法、繪畫，富收藏、精鑑別，與蔡襄、蘇軾、黃庭堅並稱為北宋四大書家。 本卷九幅，書寫時間約在崇寧元年、二年間（1102，1103），談及購求王羲之＜來戲帖＞、＜王略帖＞，翟院深山水畫及竹紙、玉筆格、奇石等，末一幅書七言詩一首，追憶三十年前長沙之事，可窺其晚年浸淫於書畫古玩的生活情趣，用筆也縱橫如意，信手寫來，毫無滯礙，十分精彩。&*1.何傳馨，〈米芾尺牘〉，收入林柏亭主編，《大觀- 北宋書畫特展》（臺北：國立故宮博物院，2006年初版一刷），頁335- 345。 2.何傳馨，〈宋米芾尺牘〉，《故宮文物月刊》，第300期（2008年3月），頁8-9。 &*此卷含米芾九件書札，分別書於徽宗崇寧元年至五年（1102－1106），即五十餘歲的晚年。此際奔波於江蘇、安徽、汴京的宦途，仍念念不忘書畫文玩的購藏。書札中有託人購取心儀已久的書蹟、文房用具、硯石珍玩，或致友人詩作，可以說是平生心志所寄的綜合呈現。 米芾（1052－1108），襄陽（今湖北襄樊）人。他兼善詩文、繪畫、書法，富收藏，精鑑別，與蔡襄、蘇軾、黃庭堅並稱北宋四大家。(20061206)&*Mi Fu, a native of Hsiang-yang (modern Hsiang-fan, Hupeh), was a poet, painter, and calligrapher with an important collection of art. He excelled at connoisseurship and became known along with Ts'ai Hsiang, Su Shih, and Huang T'ing-chien as one of the Four Masters of the Northern Sung in calligraphy. This handscroll includes nine letters written by Mi Fu from 1102 to 1106, dating to his later years in his fifties. Despite his busy career as an official during this period in Kiangsu, Anhwei, and Pien-ching, he never overlooked the opportunity to purchase works of painting, calligraphy, and the scholar's studio. In these letters, he asked people to acquire precious inkstones, objects of the scholar's studio, and works of calligraphy that he had long admired. Also including poetry written to friends, this handscroll can be said to be a composite record of his ambitions in life.(20061206)
