- 故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁133&*故宮書畫圖錄，第十四冊，頁297-298&* 月令圖大部分建築僅繪局部，不是完整的單體建築。此圖以前庭大院為中心，描寫開敞的室內活動，菱形、貝葉式的牆上開洞可提供各獨立空間的聯繫，事實上並不符合實際的結構。另有一些券頂門洞、陽台設計可能受到西式建築的影響，反映出當時皇家園苑的創新趣味。畫上未署名，但從色彩筆墨來判斷，可能是出自於雍正、乾隆朝宮廷畫家合作的。&*Activities of the Months: The 12th Month Anonymous Ch’ing Dynasty (1644-1911) In painting activities of the lunar months, most of the architecture here is truncated rather than whole, serving more as a background and as scenery for the figures. This painting of the 12th month focuses on a large foreground courtyard. The activities inside the buildings spill into the open spaces. Wall openings also provide continuation between individual areas. Several aspects of the gateways and balconies appear based on Western-style architecture, reflecting an imperial taste for innovation and exoticism found at the time. There is no seal or signature here, but the style indicates it might be from the hands of court artists who worked under the Yung-cheng (r. 1723-1735) and Ch’ien-lung (r.1736-1795) emperors. &* 農曆十二月，大雪封山，冰河結凍，人們有的閒立，有的向火，有的滑冰。小孩們玩得更為興高彩烈，蹴菊，踢毽，堆雪獅。這時是一年辛勞的結束，所以都各樂所樂，顯得無比的閒暇。&*Occupations of the Twelve Months (The Twelfth Month) Painters of the Ch’ing Court Ch’ing Dynasty (1644-1911) A thick blanket of snow covers the mountains and ice chokes the rivers. People stand idly, gather around a stove, watch the crowds of deer, or go sledding on the ice. Children play football and shuttlecock and build snow lions. This scene completes the pageant of the seasons. &*十二月令圖組的十二月一軸，描寫冬季雪景。建築物由近景向遠景推移安排，有西洋透視法則的使用跡象。各個不同建築物所區隔出的活動空間內，也都有符合當月節令的多樣活動細節安排，在在顯出月令圖組內對於一個月份景致的掌握。此組畫作的畫風精緻、設色講究，可謂清畫院風格的突出代表作品之一。&*“Activities of the Twelve Months” is a set of twelve hanging scrolls, one dealing with each month. The painting for the twelfth lunar month here is a snow scene set in winter. The buildings are arranged from the foreground to the background using methods of Western perspective. The activities that take place within each area marked off by the buildings are intended to match the various events traditionally associated with each of the months, providing a glimpse at life in the Ch’ing palaces throughout the year.
