- 石渠寶笈初編（重華宮），下冊，頁717&*故宮書畫錄（卷三），第一冊，頁51-52 &*1.〈元鮮于樞行草真蹟〉，收入國立故宮博物院編輯委員會編，《名寶上珍》（臺北：國立故宮博物院，1995年初版一刷），頁186。 &*鮮于樞（西元一二五七－一三○二年），字伯機，號困學民，漁陽（今屬北京）人。善詞賦通音律，能鑑定書畫及古器。至元間官浙江行省都事，大德六年任太常典簿，是年卒。行楷得晉唐雄勁筆意，草書學懷素。趙孟頫曾謂：「伯機草書過余遠甚，極力追之而不能及。」筆勢豪邁圓勁，使轉縱橫，落筆不茍，有北方人雄強的氣魄。本幅乃書唐人劉長卿昭陽曲、寄別朱拾遺、高適除夜作詩三首。&*Hsien-yu Shu, a native of Yu-yang (now part of peking), excelled at poetry, literature, music, and calligraphy. He was also a connoisseur of art. Ynder the Yuan Mongol rulers, he also served as an official. In semi-standard script, Hsien-yu Shu achieved the heroic brush manner of the Chin and T'ang. In cursive script, he studied the style of Huai-su. Chao Meng-fu once praised Hsien-yu's cursive script for its breadth and unlimited potential. The brush force here is strong yet rounded as it turns and dances across the surface. Not a single stroke appears lacking or misplaced. This work features the powerful features of calligraphy practiced in northern China at the time and transcribes three poems by T'ang dynasty (618-907) poets.
