- 石渠寶笈初編（御書房），下冊，頁1014-1015&*故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁40&*故宮書畫圖錄，第十八冊，頁113-116&*本卷舊標「明宣宗花鳥真蹟」，以水墨畫花木泉石與鳥雀一對，花瓣採圈染倒暈法突顯純白，葉片點染加以細筆勾脈，全畫介於工、寫之間。上有「宣德御製」楷書，並鈐「武英殿寶」。但無論畫風、書風或印璽均不同於宣宗其他書畫作品。幅上項元汴（一五二五—一五九０）收傳印記，與拖尾晚明申時行（一五三五—一六一四）、華雲（一四八八—一五六０）等人題跋皆為偽托。應為清初畫人仿作。(20120407)&* The old label for this scroll reads, “Authentic Work of Birds and Flowers by the Ming Emperor Xuanzong.” In monochrome ink, it depicts flowers by a stony brook with a pair of sparrows. The reverse halo method of outlining and shading petals brings out their pure whiteness. Fine brushwork delineates the leafy details, combining fine-line and sketchy manners. The regular-script inscription reads, “Imperial production of Xuande,” with a seal impression for “Treasure of Wuying Palace.” These, however, differ from others of Xuanzong. This work also has collection seals of Xiang Yuanbian (1525-1590) and colophons by Shen Shixing (1535-1614) and Hua Yun (1488-1560), all spurious additions. This work is thus probably an early Qing imitation.(20120407)
