- 內容摘要說明：Baro. 30-12. Went to Pak-tau and looked over a site for the new chapel. Sun burning hot. Saw Ko Hok a preacher from Pat-li-hun who came to the Col. sick. He seemed to be nearing the end. I left him in tears. He said "I am all right." meaning his soul. asked if I would be back today. When told I would' he smiled and seemed pleased …… Before I returned he was called home. At noon he asked for me said he would like me to have singing and thus bid him farewell. 1. He knew that the time had come to depart. 2. Told his wife and child never to forsake God… 3. The last hour he kept repeating the names Savior' Aposthes' Paul' Job' Joseph. 4. Eve. before when we were all singing in Col. he jumped up and went our of the room to listen and called for his Bible. 5. Called on those around to sing. 6. Asked Mrs. M. if I would soon come' saying my name in English. Astonished all. 6. said "Why did Xt suffer so much for us?" 7. said "I'm going to heaven if I just get a small corner it will be all I am worthy to receive." Etc. He slept in Peace.
