- 內容摘要說明：As usual taught in the Col. and at noon went to the Hos. after which went through the town. There several farmers from the north hill were selling roots etc. for medicines. In order to gather a crowd' they had four large cobras' the longest nearly five feet in baskets and now and again would let them out and allow the "hooded". Reptiles to approach very near. The poisonous fangs had been previously removed…These venomous and dead by cobras are very similar to the "Najas". I saw in Egypt. I have one over four ft. in length preserved in my museum room. They are darker in color than those I saw in India. They are chiefly amongst the rocks and tall grass on the mountains. Children's meeting in Col. last night
