- 內容摘要說明： Rainbow in the clouds. Many passing showers throughout the day- Again at work with He and A-Hoa till noon. When at 1 P.M. We went down to the Hospital. Dispensed to a large number of patients the Dr. being Still unwell. He came in when about through So also the German gunner who is drilling the Chinese Soldiers. He was just back from the East Coast where 5000 chinese Soldiers went to punish the savage and border Chinese for having killed a Mandarin who was sent to measure land etc.-He said fully 200 Soldier fell or were wounded. Savages could not be seen. They fired from behind trees etc. Heard from Thiam-kui himself about his wife's & infants death.
