- 內容摘要說明：With Theng went to Toa-tiu-tiaN early in the morning saw the workmen passed on to Chiu-nih examined the drain built up with stones and proceeded to Go-ko-khiN there the mason was making sun-dried bricks of half clay and half sand. Terrible work looking after these men' sat under a tree and took some rice. Left Theng there and came back alone to Chiu-nih' was called in to see a sick man' saw him lying on boards just near the end. Told them so and left see Li-sek a convert of a dozen years Standing also an Elder. He was cheered by me going to see him. Tried to rise up in bed; but failed. Very low indeed. The flesh all gone' still his mind active. I said " it won't be long' do you rejoice" O said he " I am so anxious about the chapel you are building. The church is precious to my heart. Still I am ready to go" when leaving he again tried to get up so as to speak and again failed. Returned to Toa-tiu-tiaN Saw a workman drop suddenly. Ran to him with cold! water and got him brought ( )In Bang-kah about dark----Very many church matters to be attended to. Chapel fulled of people. Retired wearied enough.
